The grasshopper
The tiny grasshopper jumped
In a hurry it was a bit scrimped
A pair of round eyes peeped out
Nice to witness the pretty stout
It never crashes its jackhammer paws
It suddenly crunched in the corner jaws
It took a sturdy stance for a moment there
To hop for some imminent hidden fear
It’s long legs rest on the ground
Just like a teased hungry hound
Treacherous it looks at times
Scissor like antennas so Devine
Oh have mercy on the poor hopper
It is neither an aeroplane or a chopper
